AALETHIAES PRICE ACTION FIELD GUIDE

CONTEXT → CONTROL → LOCATION → ATTEMPT → RESPONSE

Read the market’s behavioral story before its pattern name.

A fast, layered reference for 5-minute ES trading. Start with state, identify who has earned control, define what must happen next, and act only when the equation is clear.

Context → Control → Location → Attempt → Response → Destination → Equation → Act.

028 min

Four A-tier theses

Strong trend, channel pullback, accepted breakout/BOPB, range-edge failed breakout.

B-tier

Failed reversal / failure-of-failure resumption.

PERSONAL ES PLAYBOOK

The six behavioral stories

Patterns are evidence inside a story. They are not independent reasons to trade.

A active B selective O observe

A-tier means actively search and drill—not automatic entry. Every trade still needs context, qualification, structural invalidation, destination, and a positive trader’s equation.

THE FROZEN DECISION ARCHITECTURE

Eleven layers, scanned in order

Use the full sequence while learning; compress it as recognition improves.

REGIME MAP

Default expectation before exception

The environment defines what evidence deserves the most weight.

Strong trend

Default: continuation

One side repeatedly accomplishes. Countertrend bars are weak or quickly rejected. Seek participation, not a top or bottom.

Healthy / maturing channel

Default: continuation, selective

Directional advantage persists, but two-sidedness grows. Demand favorable structure and a credible resumption.

Broad trading range

Default: failed BO / oscillation

Both sides undo one another. Trade only meaningful edges and tested failures; avoid the middle.

Tight range / BO mode

Default: wait

Direction is unresolved. Require displacement, follow-through, and the ability to hold outside.

Transition / reversal environment

Default: old control damaged

New control has not yet been earned. The outcome may be resumption, range, or genuine reversal.

BEHAVIORAL ENGINES

Four sequences underneath the labels

01 / ACCEPTANCE

Claim → follow-through → acceptance or rejection

A breakout makes a claim. What follows determines whether the market believes it.

02 / CONTROL

Attempt → response → accomplishment

Effort matters through what it changes: structure, value, control, or trapped participation.

03 / FAILURE

Expectation → failure → trap → forced exit → fuel

A useful failure requires a clear expectation and participants who must respond.

04 / REVERSAL

Damage → test → failure → flip

Exit threshold is lower than reversal threshold. Opposite control must be earned.

  1. StateTrend, range, breakout mode, or transition?
  2. ControlAIL, AIS, or genuinely uncertain?
  3. LocationWhere relative to structure, extremes, magnets, EMA, BO point?
  4. ThesisWhat should happen next—and why?
  5. ProofWhat attempt occurred? Was there follow-through, failure, or acceptance?
  6. InvalidationWhat market evidence kills the premise?
  7. DestinationWhat is the nearest reasonable target?
  8. EquationDoes probability × reward justify failure × risk?
  9. ActLong, short, or wait. Size from risk budget; stop from structure.
